PSTS Episode 75 – Super Mario 3D World, Link Between Worlds, and Worlds with Enslaved High Schoolers

The release of both the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 has left most major announcements already said, but that’s okay, because for once Jeff and J.D. have two brand-new games that they need to talk about. Of course, neither of them are from said console releases, but that’s besides the point. Also up for discussion is the littany of Persona games Atlus announced last Sunday, as well as some breakdowns, most of them not literal, from the XBone’s release last Friday.

    Hey guys,
You had pretty much the same experience with Monster Hunter that I had, I bought it for 3ds and had no clue what I was doing, after a while I figured the basic mechanics of the game and had a lot of fun with it and then I realized it works in such a way that it is a never ending cycle that would only require more and more work. After putting about 70 hours into it I was done. It’s just too much.
It was cool to watch you guys grind, because I didn’t had too. But I get why you’re moving on.
It’s nice that you mentioned the miiverse 3d World thing by the way, I feel like it doesn’t get enough praise.
It’s great and really unique, it can’t be done in any other consoles.

It’s great someone else felt the exact way! We both wondered how it is that the fanbase doesn’t feel the same way that we do, but it’s extra-funny you went through the same series of opinions on MH. Seriously, some people have ungodly amounts of hours in it.
