Video Game News, Commentary, and Fist Fights

PSTS Episode 38 – Playstation 4, The Cave, and Ye Olde Brothers of Smash

Only a week behind the actual gaming news (darn us for picking Wednesdays to post our podcasts!) Jeff and JD are here to deliver to you the huge amount of stuff pouring out of last Wednesday’s Playstation conference thing. Along with that is yet more discussion and debating about how used games will be handled next gen, and why it’s really not clear, some reviewing and talking about Double Fine’s The Cave, and rerererereviewing of that old fighting game of yore, Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64. Plus more!

Check out Machinarium and Primordia which I believe are on Steam for point and click adventures. I was going to talk about Primordia on one podcast but had to mention Fez. Go ahead and look them up, I’ll be right here waiting. And talking about Demos hurting games, Monster Hunter. One of the best things is using the ingredients for crafting armor and weapons which is not available in the demo.

That’s one of the things that I specifically was sad was left out of the demo! Like, aren’t those things half of the game? Or even the best part? All that inventory creation and stuff?
